Reticulum lies between Horologium and Dorado near the Large Megellanic cloud. Representing a Reticle, a grid used with telescope eyepieces for measuring stellar separations, Reticulum has no mythology associated with it.
Reticulum is the 82nd largest constellation colvering 114 square degrees and the the 70th brightest. Reticulum reach opposition on November 24.
